Maria Rafdal is a licensed acupuncturist in Minnesota and a certified Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She provides acupuncture in Wayzata, MN and serves patients throughout Minnetonka and the greater Minneapolis area, offering personalized, holistic care rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She earned her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, completing over 3,000 hours of intensive training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and integrative therapies. Her education also includes advanced coursework in Western biomedical sciences, giving her a comprehensive, integrative approach to patient care.
Maria specializes in acupuncture for pain relief, women’s health, fertility support, stress, and overall wellness. She integrates a range of techniques—including Japanese and Traditional Chinese acupuncture, trigger point therapy, sports acupuncture, and auricular acupuncture—alongside cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion to create customized treatment plans tailored to each patient.
